The course is designed for secondary school PE teachers, sports school coaches, and leaders of school interest clubs and groups, and others who want to teach gymnastics in a "more modern" way.

During the course, applicants will theoretically familiarize themselves with the importance and advantages of integrating parkour into the educational process. They will understand the crucial impact of parkour techniques on the development of motor skills and psychological traits of a child.
Practical exercises will focus on:
• A repository of movement games leading to the gradual acquisition of sufficient physical fitness to perform individual parkour techniques.
• How to safely manage and control a sudden fall – methodology of safety rolls.
• Preparatory body exercises – movement patterns – fostering physiologically positive movement habits for individual parkour techniques.
• Preparatory take-off and landing exercises to properly master the technique of jumping from obstacle to obstacle.
• Techniques for overcoming lower and higher obstacles and their modifications.
• Basic techniques for overcoming obstacles using rotational movements.
• Connecting individual parkour techniques and subsequently creating “flow”.
Participants will be able to use the basics of parkour as a means to motivate children towards outdoor physical activities.
The course will be led by Mgr. Jaroslav Chum - winner of the World Cup in parkour 2022 and 2023.
