Content Plan:
The course provides participants with basic pedagogical education in the field of competitive swimming for independent or assistant coaching activities in swimming clubs, focusing on training children and youth, or possibly adults. Employment can also be anticipated in training performance adult swimmers, in conditioning swimming or as a personal swimming coach. The course will be held in two three-day consultations consisting of theoretical lectures, seminars, and practical training in a pool.
- Deepening knowledge in the field of swimming training for children and youth.
- Introduction to other topics directly related to the activity of a youth coach.
- Participants' own practice in terms of improving swimming techniques and endurance training.
- Graduates will receive a "Swimming Coach III. class" certificate (or Swimming Coach IV. class), which is recognized by ČSPS, ČČK, and other sports, interest, and educational organizations in the Czech Republic.
After completion, FTVS UK students may apply for the recognition of three credits for the elective course PPLS035.
