Content Plan:
The aim of the practical seminar is to introduce participants to the method of psychomotorics with a focus on working with school-age and preschool children.
Psychomotorics is a method of using movement to address psychological and social processes in both individuals and groups. It allows experiencing spontaneity and joy of movement through lived experiences. It is a form of movement-based education, applicable across all age groups. It can also be used to improve motor skills in children, develop motor literacy, and support social bonds, communication, imagination, coordination, tension relief, activation or relaxation, memory, spatial orientation, etc.
The seminar will also offer introductory theoretical information, but the emphasis is on the practical provision of a repertoire of games and activities and experience in their leadership and creating an appropriate lesson structure. In the didactic reflections of the games, modifications will be mentioned concerning age-specific traits or for students with specific educational needs, such as children with attention disorders and hyperactivity, emotional difficulties, or disabilities.
